We all know that a few kind words can change your entire outlook on a situation, but it can be a challenge to think of positive things to say in the moment. So, we’ve compiled a list of expressions to use in various situations to help parents be their children’s biggest champions. Accept the Words Matter Challenge and start a lifelong habit.

On April 7th, join Prevent Child Abuse Nevada and Advocates to End Domestic Violence as we plant about 1000 pinwheels on the legislative lawn in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Joining PCANV and AEDV will be a list of guest speakers followed by performances by local children’s choir.
Location: Carson City Legislative Lawn from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
